DAS PROGRAMM
Mourjjan4Children (M4C) ist ein innovatives kreatives Bildungsprogramm zur Unterstützung gefährdeter Kinder, die in ihrem frühen Leben Traumata erlebt haben.
Wir glauben, dass jedes Kind einen sicheren Raum verdient, in dem es lernen kann, seine Emotionen selbst zu regulieren, kritisches Denken und Selbstreflexion zu entwickeln und seine angeborene kreative Natur zu nutzen, um sich im Leben zurechtzufinden.
Indem wir Kindern ein Umfeld bieten, in dem sie ihre Kreativität und ihr Potenzial erforschen können, wollen wir dazu beitragen, dass noch viel mehr "kleine" Leben verändert werden - in dem Wissen, dass sie die innere Stärke und die Werkzeuge haben, um zukünftige Hindernisse zu überwinden.
Dies wiederum hat das Potenzial, den Kreislauf von Trauma und Armut zu durchbrechen, von dem gefährdete Kinder oft betroffen sind, die Auswirkungen von Vertreibung zu mildern und ein Gefühl des sozialen Zusammenhalts und der Integration zu fördern.
Unter dem Dach des Vereins S4L und in lokaler Zusammenarbeit mit Beit bil Jnoub im Südlibanon arbeitet M4C mit Kindern im Alter von 7 bis 16 Jahren mit unterschiedlichem Hintergrund wie libanesisch, syrisch, palästinensisch und äthiopisch.
Mourjjan4Children führt jährlich ein Foundation Programm und jedes zweite Jahr ein Advanced Programm durch, das allen Kindern des Zentrums offensteht.

THE PROGRAMME
Mourjjan4Children (M4C) is an innovative creative education programme to support at risk children who have experienced trauma in their early lives.
We believe every child deserves a safe space to learn how to self-regulate their emotions, develop critical thinking and self-reflection and use their innate creative nature to navigate through life.
By offering an environment where children can explore their creativity and potential, we aim to help transform many more ‘little’ lives – knowing that they have the inner strength and tools to overcome future obstacles.
This, in turn, has the potential to break the cycle of trauma and poverty that often affects children at risk, to help mitigate the impact of displacement and to foster a sense of social cohesion and integration.
Under the umbrella of the Association S4L and the local collaboration with the NGO Beit bil Jnoub in South Lebanon, M4C works with children age 7 to 16 from many different backgrounds such as Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian, and Ethiopian.
Mourjjan4Children runs a yearly foundation programme and every second year an advanced programme open to all children in the centre.
